You will need to complete the following steps with regard to visas:
1. Determine whether you will require a visa to enter Mainland China.
- Those holding valid passports from the following countries will not require a visa:
Mainland China, Brunei, Japan, Singapore. - Those holding a valid ‘Hong Kong & Macau Home Return Permit’ will not require a visa.
- Those holding a valid ‘Taiwan Compatriot Permit’ will not require a visa.
- All others must apply for a visa before attempting to enter mainland China
2. Apply for a visa.
Contact the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in order to apply for a visa.
Alternatively, visas can be arranged through China Travel Services Limited.
