Yangshuo County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

The focus of this programme is community engagement in the beautiful, yet impoverished Yangshuo countryside. During the week visitors will get to know the students of a village school where they will organise games. In addition to this they will work hard at the school while helping to build and/or improve facilities.

Although time spent at the school will form the core of the programme, visitors will have several opportunities to get acquainted with other aspects of local culture and geography. This will happen through a Chinese cooking class and certain action-adventure activities such as hiking and rock climbing.
